Eloi Ragot (FR/BE/DE) is a film composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound designer bestknown for creating intense, sensorial and immersive soundtracks.

His work includes the original music to international series such as the internationallyacclaimed Belgian noir series La Trêve(The Break, Best French-Speaking Series Award @Series Mania Festival 2016, 2 seasons now on Netflix), the crime thriller seriesKeizersvrouwen(Women of the Night, co-written with Hannes de Maeyer, now on Netflix)and Belgium’s latest supernatural thriller Unseen (Invisible).

Besides TV series, Eloi has been working on the Canadian feature film Reservoir and theWWII feature documentary The Red Orchestra (Die Rote Kapelle, for which he recordedwith the Budapest Symphony Orchestra), the latter hitting theaters in Spring 2021.Self-taughtpianist and guitarist, he is also aclassically-trained trumpeterandstudiedmusical analysis and writing. Since 2008, he has composed, arranged andproducedmusic for over 40 films and seriesfor diverse production companies andbroadcasters includingLucas Etc.(teen series for RTBF & VRT), the second season ofLaThéorie du Y(Jury Award + Public Award @ Swiss Web Festival 2017) andEuh(JuryAward @ Swiss Web Festival 2016).

Eloi was selected to many ‘artist-in-residence’ programs including theprestigiousBerlinale Talentin 2017 and has also held several masterclasses in festivalssuch as ARE YOU SERIES? 2016 andSoundtrack Cologne 2018.

As a passionatemusic producer, Eloi likes to combinefield recording,sampling,electronic and acoustics soundsto create exciting textures and soundscapes.

Eloi has just finished the score to the Japanese-German-Belgian seriesTheWindow, aninternational co-production about the multi-billion dollar business surrounding international professional football and to the US feature documentary Harpooned.

Eloi lives and works between Brussels, Paris and Berlin and is fluent in French, English and German.
